ABOUT ME
My name is Revecca (Misaki) Montgomery and I have been a pastry chef for the past 13 years in Brisbane Australia. I came from Tokyo Japan 24 years ago with passion to become pastry chef.
I have studied Certificate 3 in Patisserie at Southbank Institute of Tafe in 2007 and graduated with Best International Student of the Year award.
From 2008-2010 I have worked in Le Bon Choix, Hooked on Bread and Cloudland as pastry chef learning about cakes and pastries as well as the business management side.
In 2010, I started working at Stamford Plaza Brisbane Hotel as Chef de Partie preparing the famous high teas, catering and preparing special requirements for numerous VIPS.
2013 I was awarded a gold medal and National Winner for Dilmah's Real High Tea Challenge in Professional category along with my partner Natalie Noriega.
2015 we were in the running for Dilmah's Real High Tea Global Challenge along with 20 national winners from 13 other counties and awarded with gold medal and best tea mocktail.
